ATHLETE SAFETY
Performance starts with safe participation.
Sports Performance Center provides coordination and education. It does not diagnose, treat, or respond to emergencies.
Before training
Use appropriate screening, qualified coaching when needed, suitable facilities, safe equipment, progressive loading, and sport-specific supervision. Independent athletes should begin conservatively and seek qualified instruction for unfamiliar exercises. Athletes returning from injury or illness need clearance from the relevant qualified professional.
Profile personalization
Sport, age band, training experience, goal, weekly availability, equipment, height, and weight help Sports Performance Center organize a practical starting program. They do not establish medical readiness, diagnose risk, or justify maximal loading.
Stop and seek help
Stop training and seek appropriate help for chest pain, fainting, severe breathing difficulty, a suspected concussion, sudden neurological symptoms, severe or worsening pain, or any situation that feels unsafe. Contact local emergency services when urgent.
Nutrition
Sports Performance Center nutrition plans are general performance guidance. Allergies, diagnosed conditions, eating disorders, supplements, weight-making, and clinical nutrition require appropriately licensed practitioners.
Mental performance
Breathing, visualization, and reflection tools support performance skills; they are not mental-health treatment. Anyone in crisis or at risk of harm should contact a qualified professional or local emergency service immediately.
Data notes
Use the restrictions field for concise participation guidance, not diagnoses or full medical records. Share only what is needed to support safe participation.
